It is my understanding that this is a somewhat rare vintage Barbie item. I have only seen one of these on lately. It was listed by a well know and experienced Barbie dealer. Hers was in mint condition. The fabric on this one has nice weight. I do not think it was played with much. It does however, have some light brown or beige soiling on it going down the left side of the front. That being the darkest area there are some other little places that are a lot lighter throughout the kimono here and there. I have no idea what this is. It may come right out with a good cleaning but do not know so am selling as is with the buyer having full knowledge of this. I have not tried to remove it and am leaving it up to the winning bidder. According to the other listing many of these original 1960's kimonos were not labeled and still retined their basting thread which this one does. Hopefully, you can see this in the photographs. I believe that the obi as well as the little red bag are original. I do not have any shoes or gloves to go with this. The kimono, obi and little red bag are what is included in this auction. I have taken as many photographs as I am allowed space for. If you have any questions or would like additional photographs of a specific part of the kimono, please do not hesitate to ask.
